The distillery and fields are located in Goka Town, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is an hour and a half drive from Tokyo on the highway.
Goka Town is a very small rural town, and most of the town is rice fields. From summer to autumn, the entire town is covered with rice ears.
It may be an impressive sight for those who see it for the first time.
I spend my days in such a place tending to the fields and distilling.
